Greetings! I am Barbara Fountain a St. Edward's University graduate alum, serving the community as a Licensed Professional Counselor-Supervisor. I have over 20 years of counseling experience. My passion is providing culturally appropriate counseling services to adults, children/adolescents, and families. The two most important roles we ever get to play in life (spouse and parent), come without instructions. However, while walking in these roles, we have the greatest potential to leave lasting effects on those we love the most! My motto:” Strengthening Families to Succeed.” I am committed to providing counseling services that empower and strengthen individuals and families! Successful therapeutic outcomes depend on a good working relationship! A collaborative approach that includes both therapist and client working together to reach the client's identified goals. My approach is an integrated psychotherapy style in which I attempt to meet the unique needs of each individualclient in their treatment. In a warm, positive environment, I provide services that empower and equip clients with the skills necessary to succeed! I am also the founder of Sister B.E.E.S. Sister B.E.E.S. is a therapeutic mentoring program for middle school girls (grades 5-8) to help them become Brave, Educated, Empowered, and Supportive individuals who embrace and celebrate their uniqueness and purpose..
